The public exhibition at The Fox pub on 17th and 18th July will be the first opportunity to see the details of the proposed cycle lanes along the A105.  The exhibition is open:
Friday 17th July, 3.00pm – 8.00pm
Saturday 18th July, 10.00am – 4.00pm

The twice deferred Public Inquiry into the proposed Stopping-Up Order for Footpath 207 finally got under way on Tuesday the 27th, it was expected to last just the day, however it was necessary to continue on Friday the 30th in order to be able to hear objections and to carry out a site visit.

Due to the fact that it became unclear about the ownership of the footpath land, the Inspector requested confirmation that ‘Dispensation Notices’ had been put on site to give any ‘owner’ the opportunity to come forward. Read the rest of this entry »

Don’t forget! – the Public Inquiry into the proposed Stopping Up Order for Footpath 207 – the footpath from Fox Lane down through Cranley Gardens, Burford Gardens and Caversham Avenue to Green Lanes – is due to be commence on Wednesday 8th February at 10.00am at the Civic Centre.

It is scheduled for two days. It would be helpful if people could attend to support our objections.
